The mission of Rappahannock Community College's Public Information Office is to develop public awareness of this educational institution, and enhance its image.

The Information Office interacts on a regular basis with the news media, current and prospective students, parents of students, alumni, college faculty and staff, legislators, business leaders, donors and potential donors, educational colleagues, and the general public, particularly those citizens within our twelve-county service area.

This interaction is accomplished through the distribution of press releases, Internet postings, class schedules, the college catalog, promotional brochures, posters, special events, and media inserts.
